Although buying presents isn’t what the holidays are about,
we definitely get caught up in doing so.
And every once and awhile we get surprised by that one friend or
coworker who bought us a gift and we think, “Uh oh, I didn’t get them anything!” Or maybe you have a ton of nieces/nephews
that you really want to get a gift for but don’t want to break the bank. Well I’m going to give you a list of stylish
yet affordable stocking stuffers to make your life a little bit easier.
1.
Scarves/Beanies/Gloves
·
A lot of these items can be found at a pretty
affordable price point. Places like
Forever 21, Tj Maxx, H&M, and Marshalls usually carry an array of different
outerwear pieces, in basic colors and stylish prints, that you can purchase
that won’t break the bank and allow you to spread the gift of giving to
many. Plus, being in the winter season,
who doesn’t love a new scarf to wrap around their neck and keep them nice and
toasty!
2.
OPI Nail Colour
·
OPI is one of THE best companies when it comes
to nail lacquer. They come out with a
huge assortment of colors every year ranging from basic colors, to dusty, to
bright , to glitter, to fragmented….well, you get the point. And with the Sephora collection running
around $10 this gift is ideal for gift giving when you have a family with a lot
of women.
3.
iPhone, iPod, iTouch Cases
·
In this day and age it seems that EVERYONE is buying
apple products, whether it’s the latest iPhone to an iPod that they are rocking
out at the gym with. Well, you may think
that a lot of the cases you see out there run pretty expensive. But, as I know from personal experience
(because my iPhone is attached to my hip), you can find a great deal online
with tons of bling-ed out iPhone/iPod cases for a very cheap price, some as low
as a $1 with only a $5 shipping charge, costing you around 6 bucks a pop! Great deal, and of course you will look ever
so stylish and savvy gifting these hot items.
4.
Skullcandy INK’D headphones
·
I cannot tell you how many times I have gifted
these items to a friend, coworker or even myself! They start at $9 but usually around the
holidays get marked for a percentage of make them a great stocking
stuffer. I love these ear buds, they are
EXTREMELY comfortable to wear, they come in a multitude of colors ranging from
black to metallic to prints and they have a background noise eliminator, so
whether you’re trying to rock out to the
gym or just trying to have some me time while not having to listen to the kids
blast the television, these are ideal.
And I guarantee anyone you gift them to will love them!
5.
Accessories
·
Now I know what you’re thinking, “Accessories!
That’ll be way to expensive”. But now
with stores like Forever 21 and H&M (even Marshalls and Ross) you can find
what used to be high ticket items like purses and hats for $10 dollars or
less. Not to mention jewelry for around
$5 dollars. This definitely allows you
to get more bang for your buck, but still allows you to be the cool mom, or
auntie, or sister at your holiday celebration that bought that really cool
cocktail ring, bracelet or clutch. (The ring shown here is only $3.80 and is
available online as well at www.forever21.com)
I hope this helps all you fabulous mom’s out there and takes
a little stress off thinking of gift ideas, that way it gives you more time to
focus on what the real meaning of these holidays are, spending time with the
people you love. Hope you enjoy and have
a great weekend! Remember, stay
fabulous!

Good ideas...perhaps more functional than the "extra" chocolate I keep on hand...but I do get to eat whatever is still here after the holidays!
ReplyDeleteGreat suggestions, thanks!
