Welcome to the Virtual Book Tour! I am super excited to be joining the tour for the very first time with this wonderful book "Murder Has Consequences" by Giacomo Giammateo. The book opens with the line "Oaths are something you swear to when you're young, and wish you hadn't when you are old." Nicky Fusco.
Nicky Fusco is the main character in "Murder Has Consequences." Nicky The rat is a wonderfully intricate character who is torn between what is right and justice. The friendship between him and detective Frankie Donovan is what makes the decisions and the oaths so much more real. I hate reviews that give away the story and the ending but lets just say that all the familial angst and rituals of growing up Catholic are beautifully drawn into the story making these characters come to life.
Giammateo colors the page with true to life characters like Sister Thomas and Millie the bar fly making this book a can't put down read. If you love a great characters this is the book for you. If you love a great story with in a story with in a story, this book is for you. And if you are all about both of the above you will ADORE this book like I did.

Introduction
Wilmington, Delaware
Actions have consequences. I learned that long ago.
- I learned it when I was five years old and got caught stealing cigarettes.
- I learned it when Mikey “The Face” Fagullo beat our asses for not giving him a cut of the smokes we stole from a boxcar.
- I learned it when Father Tom caught us playing cards instead of attending mass.
- Mostly I learned it when I shot Freddy Campisi. That lesson cost me ten years in prison.
