This is another of the Lincoln Lawyers books. Micky Haller, who is always skating on thin ice is now defending people against mortgage foreclosures.

Michael Connelly always seems to perfectly capture the feel of an era and he is no less skillful here capturing the Real Estate debacle that was the 2010-2012's. And as always Michael Connelly weaves a complicated mystery into the headlines of the day.



Connelly's characters, as always are rich and beautifully played. Especially the duplicitous one. The twist and the end of this one is a dozy. Hold on tight as the Lincoln Lawyers drives thought this murder case to an ending that you will never see coming.
