(La Jolla, CA) - Pairing wine and chocolate is the
perfect match for the foodie and wine connoisseur wrapped in one;
especially while enjoying the two while overlooking the tranquil,
secluded beaches of La Jolla at the Pantai Inn.
Guests will enjoy tasting the sometimes subtle,
creamy nuances of a
delicate white chocolate or the lively bold tones of dark chocolate
from Eclipse Chocolate with
five fine wines. Made from ethically-sourced couverture chocolate and
other all natural ingredients, Eclipse proudly offers a myriad of exotic
infusions to explore. Hand selected wines will range from an elegant
Pinot Grigio to an intense Amarone; with each bottle chosen to
compliment the rich confections. |
Robert Rauch, CHA,
is the host and will review the various wines and William Gustwiller,
chocolatier from Eclipse, will discuss the flavors and how they pair
with the wines.
The evening will begin with a sparkling wine served with cheese and
fruit prior to the tastings. The event takes place from 6:30 to 8 pm.
