Bavarian music. The best part? The entire festival, which spans the last weekend in September and each full weekend in October, is free. Enjoy delicious food, and great fall activities including pumpkin painting, craft vendors and more. Head to the summit with a Scenic Skyride, the mountain’s six-passenger chairlift, for a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

For the Family: On October 5, the Heritage Craft Fair opens at the Bronck Museum in Coxsackie, featuring an exhibition and sale of early American crafts, live music, delicious food, wagon rides and a silent auction. Admission is free for the 12 – 5 pm event.
